How do I access my FVTC email?
Your FVTC email account is provided via Microsoft 365 and is the primary way you’ll communicate with your instructors and FVTC staff. Microsoft 365 also includes your OneDrive cloud document storage and the Office suite of products, such as Word, Excel, etc.
To access your FVTC email and Microsoft 365, visit www.fvtc.edu > CURRENT STUDENTS > EMAIL LOGIN & DOCS
Sign in with your FVTC username, password, and complete Multi-Factor Authentication.
Your FVTC email will be available in the Outlook app, located along the left side of the Microsoft 365 page.
PLEASE NOTE: To sign in to your FVTC email and Microsoft 365, you must use your FVTC username. However, your email address is your first name + dot + last name + last 4 digits of your FVTC ID followed by "@fvtc.edu" (example: jane.smith6789@fvtc.edu).
How can I get my FVTC email on my smartphone or mobile device?
Download the free Outlook app from the App Store or Play Store onto your smartphone or mobile device.
When prompted, add an email account and enter your FVTC username.
Your username for our sites is your nine-digit FVTC ID number followed by "@fvtc.edu" (example: 123456789@fvtc.edu).
When prompted, enter your password and complete Multi-Factor Authentication.
Why does FVTC require me to use FVTC email?

Who can get a FVTC email account?
- Program students - All program students receive an @fvtc.edu email address through Microsoft 365, and this email mailbox is designated as the official communication vehicle to provide information to program students regarding registration for classes, business transactions, advising, campus activities, and other information which is needed to enhance the
College experience. Applying for a program does not grant an @fvtc.edu email address—students must be admitted in a program to receive the email address. - General public (Personal/Professional Development (PPD)) - Non-program students do not receive an @fvtc.edu email address and will receive official email communications to their preferred personal email account.
