Teams | Setting a background Image

You can customize your background in Teams.
PLEASE NOTE!  If you wish to use FVTC Branded backgrounds, please go here first:

By default, Microsoft also has a number of default backgrounds for you to chose from.

 BEFORE JOINING A MEETING  AFTER JOINING A MEETING
  1. Click on the Meeting you wish to join.

  2. Make sure camera is on.

  3. Click on the Show Background effects button and turn it purple (On position).
    PLEASE NOTE!  If you don't see this option your web cam is not compatible with this feature!

  4. Click on a Microsoft background thumbnail.. and skip to Step #9... OR...

  5. Click on Add New

  6. Find and select downloaded image (for instance from the Marketing site listed above)

  7. Click Open

  8. Click on newly added image (which will now appear at the bottom of your thumbnails)

  9. Click Join Now to enter your meeting with your new background image.
  1. Hover to get Meeting Controls and click on the three dots.

  2. Click on Show background effects

  3. Click on a Microsoft background thumbnail.. and skip to Step #8... OR...

  4. Click on Add New

  8. Click on Apply to set image.
