As a part of our licensing agreements with Microsoft, ALL FVTC Students are eligible to use the Microsoft Office 365 online products!
This includes:
- 1 TB of online storage space with OneDrive
- Access to web-based versions of Microsoft's signature products, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- FREE while you are a active student (For more information on your individual access, view our Student Support | Microsoft 365 and Email Policies & Procedures document with additional details)

How do I get access to Office 365 and OneDrive?
The easiest way is via the web with these steps (or just take me there now!):
- Go to our our website, www.fvtc.edu
- Click on Current Students
- Click on the green Student Email and Docs
- Click on the Login button
- Enter your Student ID number followed by: @fvtc.edu
- Click on Next
- Enter your Password
- Click on Sign in
You'll see icons to access your OneDrive and all of your apps there!
How do I access OneDrive on a campus computer?
- Sign in to any FVTC Campus or Regional Center computer with your FVTC Student ID.
- Click on the File Explorer Icon in the bottom task bar (it looks like a manila file).
- Look for "OneDrive - Fox Valley Technical College" on the right side.
- Click on the link to access all your folders!
Saving from Office Products
When saving a new Office file (such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc) select File, Save As, OneDrive - Fox Valley Technical College. Note: if you are signed in it will list your username, otherwise when you select this location it will prompt you to sign in.
Saving from non-Microsoft Office Products
When you need to save from a non-Microsoft Office product, you'll want to use the Save As feature of the application, select OneDrive - Fox Valley Technical College from the left hand side of the menu, and browse to the location you want to save the file in.
