How it's used
- Users connect to a virtual lab computer
- Provides access to FVTC software and network resources from any device
What are the hours of availability?
- Available: 24/7, every day
- Planned downtime (possible):
- Wednesdays: 4:00 AM - 7:00 AM
- Sundays: 6:00 AM - 10:00 AM
During these windows, Citrix may be taken offline for updates. Please plan accordingly.
What's the best browser to use?
For the ideal experience, we suggest Google Chrome when using the locally installed Citrix Workspace or Workspace for HTML5 on Windows 10. We also suggest using Safari when using a Mac. Below you will see a list of supported browsers.

What's the difference between a Virtual Application and a Virtual Desktop?
Virtual application
- Opens only the selected application
- No full desktop view
Virtual desktop
- Opens a full Windows computer
- Includes FVTC-owned software

How do I use multiple monitors for my virtual desktop?
- Start with the virtual desktop in windowed mode
- Drag the window so it spans the monitors you want to use
- Click Fullscreen on the toolbar to use all spanned monitors
- Stretch the window if using more than two monitors
Requirements
- All monitors must have the same resolution
- All monitors must use the same orientation (all landscape or all portrait)
What should I do if my mouse cursor is clicking in a spot away from my cursor?
Common causes
- Multiple monitors with different resolutions or orientations
- Display scaling set above or below 100%
Fix
- Open Display Settings
- Set Scale to 100%
- Ensure all monitors use the same resolution and orientation
Where should I save files?
We suggest you use the following locations:
- Network Drives
- OneDrive
If you are using the Citrix Workspace App for Windows/Mac you can also use a flash drive
If you are using the Citrix Workspace App for HTML5, you can download and upload files through the browser
