THIS PAGE WORKS BEST IN CHROME. How to use the new Multi-Function Devices for printing, scanning and copying.

How do I log in to the new devices?

There are two ways:

  1. Type in your user ID/password on the touch panel,
  2. Swipe your Staff or Student ID card.
    > The first time you use your ID card, the printer will prompt you to register your card.
    > You will need to enter in your credentials one time and then you will be able to swipe your card every time after that.

How do I print from a college computer?

  1. Open the application you need to use (such as a Word or a web browser)
  2. Select the Print option.
  3. Make sure that ReleasePrint is selected (it typically is the default) when you look for the printer option
  4. Click on Print
  5. See the option below, "How can I print to any multi-function device on campus?"
STAFF!  PLEASE NOTE!  You cannot directly print to a device by device ID number, you MUST use ReleasePrint!

How can I print to any multi-function device on campus?

  1. To print to this device, Choose the ReleasePrint queue.
  2. Select desired print options.
  3. Click Print.
  4. You will get a notification: Your document has been held in a queue. Before the document will be printed, you will need to log into a printer and release your document.
  5. Go to the printer to release your prints (see next step).

How do I release my prints from any multi-function device?

  1. Log in to the printer.
  2. Select Print Release.
  3. Select the file you wish to release, or select all.
  4. At this screen you can also choose to override default settings such as Print to Grayscale, and Print 2 sided.
  5. Click print.
  6. Log off the device .
  7. Sanitize the display the screen.

How do I make copies on this multi-function device?

  1. Log in to the device.
  2. Select Device Functions.
  3. Choose desired print options.
  4. Click Start.

How do scan to my email or OneDrive from a multi-function device?

  1. Log in to the device.
  2. Select Scan.
  3. Choose one of the scanning locations.
    > Scan to Email
    > Scan to OneDrive
  4. Choose desired scan options.
  5. Click Start.
