THIS PAGE WORKS BEST IN CHROME. How to use the new Multi-Function Devices for printing, scanning and copying.
How do I log in to the new devices?
There are two ways:
- Type in your user ID/password on the touch panel,
OR - Swipe your Staff or Student ID card.
> The first time you use your ID card, the printer will prompt you to register your card.
> You will need to enter in your credentials one time and then you will be able to swipe your card every time after that.
How do I print from a college computer?
- Open the application you need to use (such as a Word or a web browser)
- Select the Print option.
- Make sure that ReleasePrint is selected (it typically is the default) when you look for the printer option
- Click on Print
- See the option below, "How can I print to any multi-function device on campus?"
How can I print to any multi-function device on campus?
- To print to this device, Choose the ReleasePrint queue.
- Select desired print options.
- Click Print.
- You will get a notification: Your document has been held in a queue. Before the document will be printed, you will need to log into a printer and release your document.
- Go to the printer to release your prints (see next step).
How do I release my prints from any multi-function device?
- Log in to the printer.
- Select Print Release.
- Select the file you wish to release, or select all.
- At this screen you can also choose to override default settings such as Print to Grayscale, and Print 2 sided.
- Click print.
- Log off the device .
- Sanitize the display the screen.
How do I make copies on this multi-function device?
- Log in to the device.
- Select Device Functions.
- Choose desired print options.
- Click Start.
How do scan to my email or OneDrive from a multi-function device?
- Log in to the device.
- Select Scan.

Choose one of the scanning locations.
> Scan to Email
> Scan to OneDrive - Choose desired scan options.
- Click Start.
