Junior Achievement | Crestron Control

This article will describe the functions available on the Crestron control system.

Basic System Operation:

From this screen, the projector can be turned on and off, the projection screen can be raised or lowered, video source's can be adjusted, and the selected source volume can be adjusted or muted.


1. Tap the touch panel to display the start screen.

2. Tap the Start Button icon to turn the system on.

3. To display a video source select the desired input on the left side of the touch panel.

Note: By selecting a video input this will automatically turn the projector on and lower the projection screen

4. To adjust audio levels for the selected video source use the small image of the volume up button and small image of the volume down button icons located to the right of the video inputs. 

5. To mute the audio from the video source click the small image of the volume mute button icon located just under the audio level controls.

Note: From the main start screen you can also raise the projector screen using the Screen "Up" and "Down" arrows. As well as turn the projector on or off using the Projector Power controls.

Advanced System Controls:

Select the audio icon small image of the advanced audio settings buttonon the top left of the touch panel to get to the advanced systems control page.

From this screen volume can be adjusted for the microphones, the active video source as well as the individual speaker zones. 

1. To adjust the wireless microphone volume select the small image of the volume up button and small image of the volume down button icons under the Wireless Pane.

Note: Depending on which microphone you are using make the appropriate selection on the right side of that pane (Lavalier or Handheld). 

2. To adjust the wired microphone volume select the small image of the volume up button and small image of the volume down button icons under the Wired Mic column.

Note: The Wired mic is the microphone located in the "radio station" room. 

3. To adjust the video source volume select the small image of the volume up button and small image of the volume down button icons under the Video Source column.

4. To adjust the Zone Volumes select the small image of the volume up button and small image of the volume down button icons under the zone you'd wish to control.

System Shutdown:

1. To shut down the system tap the power iconPower button in the upper right.

Radio Station PC XPanel:

To login to the computer located in the radio station room, follow the steps below.

1. Wake the computer by moving the mouse.

2. Press CTRL + ALT + DEL keys on the keyboard.

3. Enter the login information in the corresponding fields.

Username: student Password: student

4. Go to the start menu on the Radio Station PC. Find Crestron, then select CrestronXPanel-JA

5. To begin press the Start Button icon to turn the system on.

6. To display the volume controls press the audio icon small image of the advanced audio settings buttonon the top left of the touch panel.

7. To adjust the video source volume select the small image of the volume up button and small image of the volume down button icons under the Video Source column.
    
8. To adjust the wired microphone volume select the small image of the volume up button and small image of the volume down button icons under the Wired Mic column.
