Outlook | Email Phish Alert Button

This document will explain the Phish Alert button

The Phish Alert button in Outlook can be used to report suspicious or potentially dangerous emails; such as messages asking you to click something, open an attachment, or provide things like credit card or login information. If you get a suspicious email, click the Phish Alert button and the email will be deleted from your inbox and forwarded to FVTC's IT team for analysis.

See the articles below for information about why, when, and how to use the Phish Alert Button.

Please note, this button shouldn't be used to report spam or marketing emails.  Just delete those emails and if desired block the sender (directions vary by application).

By using this button, you are helping to keep our organization safe and defend it against cyberattacks.
