This KB Article provides an overview for common printing tasks.

Adding a Printer on FVTC Staff Computers

Step 1. Click the Windows start menu button.

Step 2. Start typing Control Panel and select Control Panel from the list.

Step 3. In the Search Box type Printers, Select Devices and Printers


Step 4. Click Add a Printer.

Step 6. Select Find a printer in the directory, based on location or feature and click Next.

Step 7. In the Name field, type in the name of the printer you want to add. You can find the name of the printer labeled on the printer (Examples of printer names include 1000P, prn01350, CampusPrintColor). Click Find Now, and double click the printer you want to add.

Step 8. Click Next.


Step 9. Decide if you want this to be your default printer and click Finish.


Secure Printing using SecureKM

Secure or Follow-Me Printing provides a simple solution that places jobs in a holding state until you are ready to release the job at any Konica Minolta device on any FVTC Campus.

Steps to Secure Printing

1. When printing a file, choose the print driver starting with “secureKM”.

2. Select any print option you would normally select as if printing to a regular print queue. (Color vs.Black/White, staples, etc.)

3. To access your print, simply log into any Konica Minolta device.

4. Select the file and click print. If you wish to print all files in the list, click Print All.

Web Printing to FVTC Printers from non-FVTC Devices

Using your preferred web browser, navigate to

Login to PaperCut using your FVTC Username and Password. 
Students: your Username is your nine-digit Student ID number (example: 123456789)
Staff: your Username is your Staff ID (example: lastname)

Choose Web Print

Select Submit a Job >

1. Select a Printer (Black&White or Color)
2. Enter the number of copies.
3. Upload files and click complete.

The following file types are allowed:

From any on-campus Konica Minolta multi-function printer, sign-in to PaperCut using your FVTC Username and Password.

Select your Held Print Job(s) and press Print.

Sending a Fax from a Konica Minolta MFD

These steps are for a Konica Minolta multifunction device. Other fax machines might have slightly different steps.

Dialing patters:

  • Appleton Campus (Including Bordini, Agriculture, Transportation): You must first dial 9, followed by the full 10-digit phone number (example: 9-920-735-5555).
  • Regional Sites: You must first dial 9, followed by 1, followed by the full 10-digit phone number (example: 9-1-920-735-5555).

For all 

  1. Login to the printer using the keyboard, ID card, or touch screen.

  2. Click the Fax/Scan button along the bottom.

  3. Place your document in the document loader tray.

  4. Press the 10Keypad button along the bottom.

  5. Enter the fax number using the touch screen or keyboard. Make sure to follow the dial pattern per your site location. Then, click the Start button.

  6. Once completed, click the Access button along the right to logout of the device.

Note: We have experienced up to a 25 minute delivery delay of faxes, however most of the time they are delivered in 3-5 minutes.
