December 21 UPDATE

MyHR is now accessible from off campus

All students, staff and FVTC customers can now access the information on your MyFVTC account from any web-enabled devices, both on or off campus.

Our technicians have applied the necessary patches and have tested and verified those fixes.

We appreciate everyone's patience while we resolved this potential vulnerability to our systems.

NOTE TO STAFF:  MyHR and the Finance system are not available from off campus at this time - please check your email for more details.

Patches continue to be applied, and some systems have been brought back online

HOWEVER - MyFVTC Account is still unavailable off campus while we wait for that patch to come to us so we can install it.

Students with registration issues can

  1. Come on campus to use any lab or library comptuer
  2. Call Enrollment Services at 920.735.5645
  3. If familiar with it, use our Citrix / Virtual Environment :

Detailed email was sent to all staff - FVTC Staff please check that email for details for access.

Access to MyFVTC Account continues to be unavailable from off campus as we are waiting for a patch from the PeopleSoft technicians at Oracle. Until that patch is verified and installed on our systems, we will not open up access as we do not want to risk any possibly attack on student information and records.

Because our technicians reacted quickly to the intrusion alert from the federal government, we do not believe any student or college data was attacked.  We continue to verify that information as we apply additional security patches and fixes.

Access to the MyFVTC Account system is availalbe by using a computer on campus on Monday, or by using our Citrix/Virtual Environment:

(Dec 11) Saturday 4:00pm CST UPDATE

We continue to investigate, patch and apply fixes to possible vulnerabilities affecting off-campus access to some of our systems.

Please note that this alert was generated by the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), a part of the Department of Homeland Security. This potential vulnerability is affecting more than just FVTC at this time. It affects any organization using the same affected technology.

Some of the delay in getting our systems online and accessible again, is that we are waiting for other technology companies to come up with the updates for their equipment and servers. That delay is unfortunately out of our control as we wait for their technicians to complete the work to finish those fixes.

  • Some IT Instructional student learning environments

The MyFVTC Account system is currently unavailable.
STAFF: MyHR and the Finance system are also affected.

Technicians are currently investigating the issue.

At thistime, we do not have an estimate for when the system will be back online.
